Overview

Mudlick Mail is expanding its inside sales team due to industry demand for direct marketing services.  The Direct Marketing Sales Rep will nurture prospects and up-sell/cross-sell existing customers.  Success in this role requires an inquisitive nature with the ability to engage small business owners, as well as business marketing executives through calls, e-mail and direct mail.   This position uses a phone and computer extensively throughout the day.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • The inside sales representative will manage a group of existing clients. The rep will build relationships with the clients and ensure their marketing needs are met.  Ultimately, their business’s success is our mission. The sales person will serve in a consultative capacity to discuss how Mudlick Mail can support them to grow the client’s business.
  • For the majority of the time, the inside sales rep will handle inbound calls from potential clients that are responding to our outreach efforts. The rep will educate clients/prospects on  Mudlick Mail  services, answer questions, and establish a relationship with the client.
  • The inside sales rep will call inactive clients to reactivate that relationship as well.
  • The inside sales rep also manages correct entry of information into our CRM tool and will work with the in-house designers to ensure the designs are created to the client’s specifications.

Everything Else You Need To Know:

  • The pay starts at base of $30k base plus  commission. It’s anticipated first year income to be in the $50-60k range. There is no cap on commission and it’s possible to earn a lot more.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Personal activities or work experience that displays motivation and self-starter mentality
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to effectively interact at all levels within an organization
  • Strong working knowledge of computers, databases, and willing to learn new concepts
  • Strong experience with MS Office products, especially Excel. 
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high performance environment
